IIDA Corporate Design Competition ProposalMy design partner Heather Schaefer and I decided to take part of an international corporate design competition this summer. We successfully created a space that meet the needs of upcoming professionals, whether they are Gen Y, Gen X or Baby Boomers. We took all social, cultural, physical and technological needs of all three distinct generations and incorporated them into a flexible, functional and productive office space. THINK/CHALLENGEThe workplace is changing to reflect new demographics, technological advances and ways of work that will aid the workforce in being more productive, engaged and innovative. Employee satisfaction, well-being, sustainability, information sharing, increased mobility and operational costs are all factors in the evolution of what we do and of how when and where we work. http://www.ifiworld.org/wing/challenge.htm
